The amount of people depends on the puzzle. Our "Doll House!" puzzle allows up to 10 people at a time. Evans and Sontag Jail Cell Escape, Ghost Hunters, Mailroom Madenss, and Professor S we allow 7 people at a time.

How scary are your rooms?

We are family friencly. At most our rooms are creepy. Each of our rooms has a mission with high stakes and a creepy factor. We do that to give the room and challenge a great story and purpose. We don't focus on scaring you. We don't have things jumping out at you, screaming in your ears, or anything inappropriate. We want you to focus on the challenge and not on facing your fears.

Do I need reservations?

Yes! We sell out often. All reservations are done through our website.

Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?

You may do so up to 48 hours before your time slot. After that time, there are no refunds or changes.

Can I just pay in cash the day of?

No. Unfortunately too many people made reservations saying they would arrive, then never did leaving us with an empty room and a huge over head. Therefore we require payment in advance. However, if you have already made reservations and paid in advance, and you have someone that wants to join your party, that extra person can pay the day of the event. Please make sure that you do not exceed your room's occupancy.

How long is the experience?

We recommend budgeting 90 minutes total for everything. You have one hour to complete the puzzle. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to go over the introduction. Most groups stick around 15 minutes afterwards to talk about the experience.

Are we locked in?

No. Our puzzles are mission based, where you need to solve the mystery in time instead of trying to open a door. Either way, all themes will have emergency exits. You can leave at any time. Evans and Sontage Jail Cell Escape, you are locked into jail cells. The cells have emergency exit buttons and you can exit at anytime you like. However, the mission is to not use these buttons except for in an emergency

What happens if we don't finsish in time?

You will be killed. I'M KIDDING! Typically, we will allow you some time to finish the puzzle past the hour. However, you won't have the pride of saying you beat the challenge unless you're really good at lying.

Are children allowd?

Yes. But use discretion. Kids 12 and up are welcome. Ages 7-11 must be accompanied by an adult. We do not recommend ages 6 and under for our rooms Only you know your child and how they will behave, participate, and enjoy the experience. Be mindful of those on your team. We cannot control the opinions of and actions of others.

Can we take pictures?

Yes and no. You can take pictures of yourself, but please don't take pictures of the puzzle elements. Also don't post any pictures that feature puzzle solutions. Posting pictures can potentially reveal the puzzle and/or solution and ruin it for future players. We advise just leaving your phone off in your pocket. You won’t need it.

Do you have free parking?

Yes. We are located at Hobby City which has 100's of free parking spaces. However weekend days we compete with Adventure City Theme Park for parking. Please arrive early to find parking during these time slots.

Why didn't someone answer the phone?

We try to answer every call that comes in. However, there are times we are busy working with guests on site. Outside of our operating hours we are busy with our summer camps, directing theme park shows, designing our next puzzles, and raising a family. During those times we may not be able to answer the phone, but we check our messages regularly. Please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. For best communication we strongly recommend emailing us at

  • If you would like to book for a date not listed please contact us.
  • All rooms are private. Our rooms holds up to 7-10 people depending on the room.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Our challenge begins promptly at the scheduled time. No late entry.
  • No cancellations or refunds. You may reschedule if you call 48 hours in advance; subject to availability.

  • We recommend ages 12 and up. Younger ages are allowed to join with their family if you truly believe they can help others with the puzzle.
  • No one intoxicated is allowed in the room. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Do I arrive early or just at my time booked?

You must arrive 15 minutes early to go over rules and your room's story. If you book for a 6:00pm game, then the game begins at 6:00pm. You need to arrive at 5:45pm to learn about the game first. If you arrive at 6:00pm, your game will start late and you will not have extra time. Why don't we just say arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:00pm game? Becuase someone somewhere else started this policy and all rooms have adopted it. Now it's the industry standard. We don't want to confuse everyone more. So we're doing it too. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Can I add more players later?

Yes, up to your room's occupancy. If you have already made reservations and want to add to your party, the easiest way is to have your extra guest come and pay the night of the event. Just arrive a bit earlier to allow time for the transaction. If you are unsure of your total number of guests, it's easiest to make reservations for the minimum player (4) then have the rest pay the night of. This way you are not out for guests that ended up not showing up.

Are your rooms private or will I be playing with others?

Our rooms are private. You will only be playing with your friends and family. To afford make our rooms private for you, we have installed a 4 ticket minimum purchase per room. You are welcome to try our rooms with less than 4 players (though we do not recommend it), but 4 tickets will still need to be purchased.

There's only 2 of us. Can we still have a private room?

To afford make our rooms private for you, we have installed a 4 ticket minimum purchase per room. You are welcome to try our rooms with less than 4 players (though we do not recommend it), but 4 tickets will still need to be purchased. We cannot afford to offer private rooms for only 2 tickets purchased. And we cannot open a room randomly for others to join you. Sorry. We love strangers playing together. But we made the change to private rooms based on popular demand.
